Part III

The middle: extremes in any area of life do not work

***I CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH THAT EVEN THOUGH I SAY THE WORDS CONSERVATIVE, AND LIBERAL, THIS SECTION IS IN NO WAY MEANT TO SPARK POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS DEBATES. TAKE THAT SHIT ELSEWHERE. IT WOULD BE NICE IF PEOPLE COULD HAVE CIVIL CONVERSATIONS ABOUT THOSE THINGS, BUT THEY CAN’T. THE MERE MENTION OF POLITICS OR RELIGION ALMOST INSTANTANEOUSLY BRINGS OUT THE IDIOT IN TOO MANY PEOPLE. THE POINT OF THIS SECTION IS TO STRESS THAT LIFE IS NOT BLACK AND WHITE, RIGHT AND WRONG, OR GOOD AND BAD; THINGS ARE NOT THAT SIMPLE NO MATTER HOW MUCH PEOPLE WANT THEM TO BE. THE GREY AREA OR THE MIDDLE IS THE ONLY PLACE THAT TRUTH EXISTS.***

We can all agree that the world is full of different people with different thoughts, feelings, opinions, and beliefs. No matter how much I may believe something to be true it doesn’t mean that you are wrong if you disagree with me. How does anyone think that a country-leaning one-way, to an extreme, will create harmony? It won’t. EXTREMES IN ANY AREA OF LIFE DO NOT WORK. When the country is extremely conservative the conservatives are happy, but everyone else is pissed. People eventually get tired of the conservative ways and then the pendulum swings the other way and things become extremely liberal. The liberals are happy but the conservatives are pissed and eventually, the pendulum swings the other way again and the resentment and discontentment goes on and on.

There is always a compromise if that is what is truly desired, but that is never what is desired. People’s need to be right or on the “winning team” supersedes everything else.

Obviously what I just wrote doesn’t come close to fully addressing that topic but I think it sets the tone for where this section is headed.
